Reflection Infection

“Reflection Infection” is a selection of 28 short stories written in the context of the “Weekly Writing Prompts” on reedsy.com, the monthly “#Micro” challenge on sweek.com, and the monthly “Furious Fiction” contest organized by the Australian Writers’ Centre.
Most of the stories have fantastic elements such as characters who are aware that they are a work of fiction, creatures with unexpected features, and mirrors with a life of their own.

Errata version 1.0:

These errors were fixed in version 1.1:

  • There's typo in the story "Bad Hair"; I wrote "cue" where I meant to write "queue".
  • In the story "Time Paradox", I wrote "You really don't know, don't you?" This should be "You really don't know, do you?"
  • In the notes about "For the Love of Mother," I say that the story was written in August 2020; that should be August 2019.
  • In the note about "Reflections," I say that the story was written in the context of Reedsy's Weekly Writing Prompts #35, but that should be #36.
  • In the notes about "Victor's Dilemma," I wrote "The story had story had to take place in a library or bookstore." That should be "The story had to take place in a library or bookstore."
